If you haven’t heard, TeeSpring just announced some major updates for 2017.
You can watch the whole video (it’s about 15 minutes long) here: https://youtu.be/8t6MBzzjjdc
With a few of these announcements, I think that TeeSpring just took their print on demand business to the next level.
There were a few key announcements:
1 – There is a lower per shirt cost structure that they are putting into place.
2 – They are going to give more control over storefront branding to sellers.
3 – They are giving sellers access to their customer’s email addresses after they make a purchase (HUGE for building your own business outside of Amazon).
4 – They will be rolling out 50+ new products over the next few months (also sweet).
And the game changer in my opinion:
5 – They will now list your products on Amazon automatically.
The guy in the video was excited about all of these items, but I was flipping out over the Amazon addition.
He didn’t go into detail on how this will all work moving forward, but I see this as a huge opportunity for anyone who uses the TeeSpring platform.
You get access to print on demand products (and even better – they are adding 50+ more in the coming months) and you get access to the Amazon customer base without having to do any additional work.
Commence happy dance.
So what is my plan moving forward?
Well. I’m going to add TeeSpring to my upload routine ASAP. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know a ton about the platform, but it’s a perfect time to start learning.
I’m going to keep an eye on the 50+ new products they will be rolling out and determine if I need to start working under different design requirements.
And I’m going to keep creating designs and uploading to the other print on demand sites such as Merch by Amazon, RedBubble, TeePublic, and SunFrog. TeeSpring’s announcement might be huge, but there is still money to be made on these other platforms.
Never put all of your eggs in one basket.
