Bundling Made Easy – Preview

This is a preview of a post that will be coming out in late February. Sign up for the email list below if you want to be one of the first to get it.

I hear all the time:

“I want to do bundles, but I have no idea where to start.”

Honestly. It’s not that hard. Below I have laid out the basic steps, but you will be able to see the full guide in late February (you all should know by now that I love cliffhangers).

Step 1. Come up with a bundle. This isn’t hard. Try to think of things usually purchased together and/or used together. The first thing that comes to my mind is a first aid bundle. We will use that for an example.

Step 2. Price out your bundle. If we are looking for an 100% return on the bundle, we should aim to keep the cost of the products to 1/3 of the selling price of the bundle. For example: If I want to sell the bundle at $30, I need my cost of goods to be at $10.

Step 3. Buy the goods. There is no magic to this one.

Step 4. Bundle them. For this example, I am going to recommend using a cheap bag from the dollar store.

Step 5. Create a listing. This includes description, photos, etc.

Step 6. Prep and ship. Make sure to polybag the items together and put a SOLD AS A SET sticker on each bundle.

Step 7. Launch a PPC campaign to increase sales.

Step 8. Rinse and repeat.

Now I will be going into more detail on the entire process in my full guide to bundles, but I’ll leave that for next month 🙂

    Can’t wait!

How about step 1.5 – analyze how well the bundle will sell?
