Shipping costs are one of the top items that limit purchases online. If you are an Amazon seller who sells items that are merchant fulfilled, you have the ability to offer free shipping to your customers. Note: FBA sellers can offer free two day Prime shipping through the FBA program.
This video provides a walk-through of how to set up your account to offer free shipping on merchant fulfilled items. For other great resources on selling online and through Amazon, please subscribe to this channel or visit www.fbamaster.com
Hi, Chris,
Loved the video, but are you aware that **some** sellers do not have the option to edit their shipping settings? Those would be sellers that have “older” accounts.
Now, I know you are focused on the new sellers, and understand that many will be able to do as you direct, however, there is a small, but not insignificant, contingent of sellers who opened their accounts years ago, did nothing with them, and then started selling recently (in my case, “recently” is two years ago, but the fact that I had an old account means no changes to shipping settings for me.
On the other hand, I get to pull my payment every 24 hours, if I so choose. So, they give with one hand and take away with the other! 🙂
Thanks for letting me mention this, in case other sellers are wondering where THEIR “change shipping settings” button is. 🙂
Georgene,
Thank you so much for that information! I had no idea that there was a difference between accounts. I will keep that in mind as I make videos moving forward.
