All of My Secrets

I’m tired of people trying to keep secrets about sourcing, online arbitrage, and methods to reduce your cost of inventory.

I’m to the point now where I realize that only about 10% of you will actually read this blog post in its entirety and only 2% of you will put my lessons into action.

That’s why it is time to unleash all of my secrets.

PoScroll1

There are no secret ingredients.

If you actually take two hours and watch Kung Fu Panda in its entirety, you are going to learn a very special lesson.

Kung Fu Panda is my all time favorite movie (Penguins of Madagascar is in a close second). I have found that kid’s movies actually take the time to teach you how to be a better person.

Mr. Ping (Po’s dad) is one of the most intelligent birds to walk the earth (I know that he is an animated bird, but still). His message reigns true today.

There are no secret ingredients.

You are the secret sauce that is going to build your online empire. There isn’t a BOLO list or book that is going to do the one thing that is important – ACTION.

The only thing that make myself different from you is the fact that I took action. Seriously – That is it.

I’m on a plane right now heading back to Indiana and I can’t stop thinking about how lucky I am. As I am contemplating, I realized that I have built a community because I have shown my successes and my failures.

I think back to what my wife said at lunch – She is in love with this Mom Mastery lady (look her up – I don’t know much about her). I asked her why she liked her so much and she said that she was just an honest person.

It really made me reflect on the blog posts that I write and the videos that record.

I’M JUST A NORMAL PERSON.

Seriously.

I’m going to take a moment to recognize all of those people who are just like me who are producing great content on a daily basis.

Jason Wilkey
John Cyscon III
Mike Garner
Bver
Kristen Orstander
Andy Slammans
Nate McAllister
Joshua Woodward
Travis Ross
Ken Szovati
Chris Potter
Ryan Grant
Brian Schanchtner

I am always asked for a list of who you should follow and my list above is the best I could give. These people are the ones who taught me how to do what I currently do and they all realize that they are just normal people with a skill for selling items online. Each of their names are linked to their Facebook groups or blogs.

I will extend this invitation right now.

If any of you who took the time to read this blog would like to sit and get a beer, let me know. I promise that I am a normal guy with a love for craft beer (ask Dave Matthews from Indy).

Can’t get to Indiana? Extend an invite to me (through this link) and we can share a beer during a chat via Google Hangouts (If you are buying, I will be there in a heartbeat).

The FBA Master community will never be a community where we will never be “too good” or “too smart” to talk with our readers and followers.

I have found that I learn just as much from talking with a blog reader as they do from me.

The moment that you think you know everything is the moment you need to reevaluate yourself.

Another rule I always follow is: “Surround yourself with those who are smarter than you.”

I am proud to say that our FBA Master community is way smarter than me. You surprise me everyday with our questions and ideas that I literally get excited each time on I get on Facebook.

I want to challenge everyone to believe in themselves and make magic happen as we finish this year with a bang!

Thanks Chris. You rock. Your parents raised a good son and should be very proud. I’m struggling a little bit but hope to one day be able to give back and help others out. You know, “what goes around comes around” (which by the way is pretty close to the name of my ebay store and rearrange those words is the name of my AZ store. Yeah, I believe in karma.) So karma says good things will come to you for all the good you do for everyone else.

Ooops. I replied under someone else instead of a new reply. Anyway, it went something like this: Thanks Chris. You rock. Your parents raised a good son and should be very proud. I’m struggling a bit but hope to one day be able to help others out. You know, “what goes around comes around” (which by the way is pretty close to my ebay store name and rearrange those words is the name of my AZ store). I have to give huge credit to this group and all of its contributors. This is my first year on Amazon and we didn’t even really start until May. We are on track to do over 200k! Although I don’t do much oa/ra (mainly wholesale) this group has been instrumental in my success from the beginning. A big thanks to the Wilkey’s and all the other contributors.
