As you might already know, I use a repricer called Bqool. The following recipes are ones that I use on a daily basis and I wanted to share them with you all.
Recipe #1 – I’m Pissed You Use a Repricer
Essentially this an aggressive recipe that will drive the price down. The reason I use this is to crash the price and have my competitor sell out of their inventory. As soon as they are out, my price shoots back up to a maximized level. I don’t use this on a lot of items, but I tend to use this when there is only one other seller on the listing and/or when I have a large supply of the item and my competitor does not.
Recipe #2 – I Have The Power of FBA
If you find yourself as the only FBA seller on a given item, this is the recipe I use. It allows to demand a higher price for the services of FBA. I tend to use a 30% mark-up for the FBA services.
Recipe #3 – Set It and Forget It
This is the rule that the majority of my listings are on right now. This maximizes my profit and allows me to set my prices and essentially forget about the item.
Recipe #4 – Get Rid Of This Shit
When I just want to liquidate an item, this is the setting I choose. It’s basically one that gets me the buy box my any means necessary. I do not recommend using this rule unless you are ready to take huge cuts in profit.
Recipe #5 – We Didn’t Start The Fire
If you want to stay away from that race to the bottom, this is a recipe for you. It keeps you from triggering other repricers and leaves you in a spot to rotate through the buy box.
Recipe #6 – I Forgot To Ship This In
I use this if I am selling something Merchant Fulfilled. I know that I’m at a disadvantage against FBA sellers, so I instead want to be competitive against other FBM sellers.
Honestly, the possibilities are endless. Fill free to take these rules and make them your own.

Hi there,
I am curious about your “Set it and forget it” rule. You have it set to Max Price if all competitors are outside your Min/Max range. Do you go through and actually set all your item max prices appropriately, or do you have a really high Max, and this is a flag for you to go through and reprice manually?
I will go through and set my max prices to a reasonable level before using this recipe 🙂
I wonder. What are your latest adjustments?
