Over the past two years, we have published over 200+ videos through YouTube, Periscope, and Facebook. In this post, we are going to take a look at the 6 most popular videos we have ever created about online sourcing.
Sit back, grab a beverage and some popcorn, and get ready to take a few notes 🙂
Video #1 – Online Sourcing: My Morning Routine
This video was the first one I recorded and published to our YouTube channel.
As part of my business model for selling items online through Amazon’s FBA program, I source items from online sources. This allows me to have the products delivered straight to my door and already packed up for shipment to an Amazon warehouse.
This video walks you through a typical morning of online arbitrage. I show you the five sites that I primarily use for online sourcing and deal finding. I also talk about the things I look for in a product and how I can determine if it is a good purchase or not. I also come across three possible products during the video and have shared the links of the products on www.fbamaster.com.
Video #2 – Online Sourcing Using Keepa.com
A follow-up video to the Morning Routine video, this one dives a little deeper into Keepa and using it to source online.
A very good site that can be used to find items that can be resold online for more (through Amazon or eBay) is www.keepa.com. This site tracks the prices of items sold on Amazon and shows it in a graphical format.
This video shows you how I use Keepa to find products to source online. I give some example of previous products purchased and also give some insight into other items that might be of interest.
Video #3 – Chrome and Extensions for Online Sourcing
This video is a straightforward video that walks you through the major Chrome Extensions I use for online sourcing. A full list of all the extensions can also be found here.
If you are new to sourcing products online for resell, this video will walk you through the process of getting the tools you need installed to make your life a lot easier.
This video shows you how to install Chrome, the preferred browser for online sourcing due to the extensions it provides. It also shows you how to install Keepa, CamelCamelCamel, The Tracktor, Context Search, Price Blink, and FBA Calculator. Other videos will dive into the use of each of these extensions, but this video prepare you for the world of online sourcing.
Video #4 – Online Sourcing – Another Way To Find Items
Sourcing is all about looking outside of the box and this video explains a great way to do just that.
There are many times that a BOLO is posted and people rush to purchase that product. Instead of fighting the crowds for that item, this video show you how to use the information provided by Amazon to find additional products to source online.
Video #5 – Online Sourcing Morning Routine: Amazon Movers and Shakers
Sometimes potential Amazon to Amazon flips are right in front of your eyes. All you have to do is know where to look.
Supply and demand rule the world of e-commerce and Amazon provides us with information every hour that can help us use it to our advantage. The Movers and Shakers section of Amazon shows us the increases in quantity demanded, which gives us insight into products that might be good for online sourcing.
This video walks you through the process I use when I look at Amazon’s Movers and Shakers and how you can do the same to find products online.
Video #6 – Using The Tracktor for Online Sourcing
We love Keepa, but there are a few other awesome sites out there that can get you started in online sourcing.
The Tracktor.com is a valuable resource for anyone who is looking to source products for resell online. The site allows you to see price history, track prices via email, and see the prices that have dropped during the day.
This video is designed to show you some advanced techniques to find products using the Tracktor. I give a walk-through of how I use the site every day to find new products to sell.
And there you have it! Have a great rest of the day.
